Written is a new platform for authors who want control, better tools, and no gatekeepers. Think Substack meets publishing—with a twist of blockchain under the hood. We’re building for the future of books, content, and creator ownership.

We’re looking for a native English copywriter (US preferred) to help shape how we sound—everywhere from landing pages to app stores.

What you’ll be writing:

  • Landing pages and product screens
  • App Store / Google Play descriptions
  • Interface copy (microcopy, tooltips, buttons, onboarding, etc.)
  • How-to guides for authors and readers
  • FAQs, help docs, and support content
  • Occasional banners, announcements, and promos

In short: all the text that makes our product clear, human, and inviting—especially for users who aren’t tech-savvy.

You should be:

  • A native-level writer (non-native speakers, even fluent ones, sadly won’t be the right fit)
  • Comfortable with tech and not afraid of blockchain, ideally with some prior experience writing for apps/digital solutions
  • Able to translate complex systems into simple, natural language
  • Bonus: experience writing for book, content, or creator platforms

What to expect:

  • This is a freelance/contract role, paid per project or per word/character count
  • To start, we’re looking for someone to review and rewrite all current product copy—from the website to in-app text and help content
  • After that, the workload will pause while we build, then resume with new tasks
  • This is part-time and flexible, and we’ll agree on the rate per project

Must-haves:

  • A writing portfolio, link to samples, or a selection of your best work
  • Availability for an initial full pass through our current copy within the next few weeks

If you're a sharp, intuitive writer who loves clarity—and a bit of chaos—get in touch. Let’s make something that reads beautifully.

Written is an equal opportunity employer.
