About the Role

Zeta is on the lookout for a dynamic Web3 Chief Marketing Officer. In this pivotal role, you'll steer our marketing initiatives and acquisition strategies with the ultimate aim: to grow Zeta's user base and position it as a market leader in the decentralized finance sector by leveraging the arsenal of digital marketing tactics and established exchange go-to-market playbooks.

Zeta was started by a tightly-knit team with backgrounds in high frequency trading (HFT), top Silicon valley tech companies and prominent centralised crypto exchanges (CEXs). They’re backed by some of the leading investors in the crypto space such as Electric Capital, Jump Capital, Race Capital, Wintermute and many more. Zeta’s platform has facilitated over $600M in trading volume over the last year and currently caters to over 5 thousand active users per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to conceptualise and roll out effective go-to-market strategies for new offerings, ensuring impactful product and feature launches.
• Partner with our founders to establish and build a compelling brand identity and voice that resonates with our target audience and reflects our values. Oversee the creation and implementation of brand guidelines across all marketing efforts.
• Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth through innovative campaigns and PR targeting our intended user group.
• Develop a content marketing strategy that engages our target audience and positions us as an industry thought leader.
• Stay up-to-date with the trends in Web3, the competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing narrative and product development. Work across teams to fine-tune our value proposition, addressing customer needs effectively.
• Supervise and enhance our social media and influencer engagement strategies, identifying and creating partnerships with influencers/KOLs to amplify our brand reach and credibility.
• Lead, grow and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Define, monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, track ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
• Manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
• Contribute to broader strategic discussions, helping shape the company's roadmap and narrative.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in a leadership role within digital marketing and growth.
• Strong understanding of digital B2C marketing and growth strategies, tactics, best practices and tools.
• Background within the Web3 and blockchain industry. Experience working with an exchange product or a project that has a launched token or incentive strategy is a massive plus.
• Expertise in product marketing, go-to-market campaigns, social media, content marketing, influencer marketing and growth hacking.
• Strong analytical skills with a history of data-driven decision-making (e.g. familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Google Analytics etc.).
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Driven and passionate about crypto, with a commitment to continuous learning in this rapidly developing field.
