About the role

As a Social Media Associate at Trojan, you won't just be posting content—you'll be shaping our online persona in the world of Crypto Twitter and beyond. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands the power of a good meme, and isn't afraid to be a "reply guy" when needed. This role offers the chance to develop and execute strategies that drive engagement and growth, working closely with our team to create content that stands out in the fast-paced crypto space.

Responsibilities

- Create and curate engaging and high-quality content (posts, stories, videos, memes) that align with our brand voice and objectives.

- Be our "reply guy" — actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage community interactions.

- Monitor social media channels for trends, community engagement, and opportunities to interact with our audience.

- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to optimize content performance and strategy.

- Collaborate with the marketing lead, and the art and development teams to plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions.

- Stay up to date on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media marketing to continuously improve Trojan's social media presence.

Requirements

- Passion for the crypto and DeFi space including knowledge of the culture that drives it.

- God-Tier reply guy and an unrivaled meme game.

- 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related role.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Creative mindset with a knack for creating viral content and memes.

- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable and will be based on the assessment of skills and experience throughout our interview process. Flexible payment options in fiat or crypto.
