About TomNext

TomNext is a London-based fintech startup on a mission to transform how wealth advisors and professional investors access and invest in alternative and tokenized assets. Our platform leverages AI and blockchain technologies to modernize and streamline every step of the alternative investment journey - from discovery to execution.

Backed by leaders in finance, technology, and blockchain innovation, and with a tech hub in Tel Aviv, we’re building the infrastructure that brings alternative investments into the digital-first era.

The Role: Lead UX & Product Designer

We’re looking for a hands-on design leader who can also serve as the product owner - ideally combining UX excellence with product management acumen. You'll be the first design and product hire, working alongside the founders to shape and build the platform from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the user experience, design system, and product roadmap for a next-generation investment platform. You’ll work directly with design partners (wealth advisors and investors), engineers, and executive stakeholders to build a product that delivers clarity, elegance, and power to professional users.

Responsibilities

  • UX/UI Leadership: Design a modern, intuitive interface tailored to HNWIs, wealth advisors, and family office professionals.
  • Product Ownership: Drive end-to-end product strategy, from ideation to launch, balancing user needs with business and compliance goals.
  • Design Thinking: Conduct user research, define personas, create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, leadership, compliance, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Roadmap & Delivery: Define, prioritize, and communicate a clear product roadmap. Track progress, iterate rapidly, and drive feature completion.
  • Process Creation: Establish best-practice design and product workflows for future team growth.
  • User Economics: Define platform engagement goals, operational costs, and optimize for adoption and retention.
  • Regulatory-Aware Design: Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure UX and product features align with financial regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use analytics, user testing, and feedback loops to enhance the platform post-launch.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–8 years experience in UX/UI design, product management, or both.
  • Previous experience building fintech, investment, or wealthtech platforms.
  • Ability to lead both design execution and product strategy in a fast-moving environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing complex product UX/UI design work (B2B or finance-focused preferred).
  • Proven success shipping digital products from 0→1.
  • Fluent in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Startup experience and comfort working in ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in tokenization, blockchain or AI.
  • Background in product ownership or product management with a UX-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with regulations and compliance for financial products.
  • Passion for building tools for HNW individuals, family offices, or investment professionals.

What We Offer

  • Founder-level influence on the product and design direction.
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus + potential equity.
  • A chance to define the UX of a next-gen fintech product.
  • Work directly with an exceptional founding team.
  • High-quality private health insurance, UK pension plan, generous holidays.
  • An ambitious, mission-driven company with global impact.
Tomnext is an equal opportunity employer.
