Datacenter Technician/Systems Engineer - Frankfurt/Remote (m/f/d)
Software Engineering
Frankfurt, Germany
Posted on Oct 14, 2026
At Staking Facilities, we’ve been building blocks since 2017. For our blockchain operation we strive to have minimal 3rd party dependence to stay as decentralized as possible. We operate the whole stack internally - from physical hardware in the datacenter up to the software we develop internally.
We are opening a second datacenter location in the Frankfurt area and we’re looking for a Datacenter Technician/Systems Engineer. This new engineer is going to help us operate, secure and scale systems that power low-latency blockchain and trading operations. Your work will span everything from hands-on work with state of art hardware to improve our automation stack and infrastructure services. No two weeks will look the same, one week you will spend a lot of time in the datacenter, the other week you will be working from home configuring pipelines/software stack.
This role is for someone living nearby Frankfurt with a car and driving license. The role requires someone with a love for hardware, a curious and hands-on mindset, and the ability to bring clarity and take ownership in complex technical environments. For us milliseconds matter and change is a constant.
What we are looking for
You’ll become an integral part of our Infra team that keeps our physical foundation layer stable, reliable and secure. This foundation layer is used by our Solana, Ethereum, Sui and Trading teams. Your work will vary, and you’ll get your hands on lots of new tech.
What we offer
About us
We're an established name in the decentralized finance space, supporting builders, traders and other market participants. Our vision is to enable Crypto to build a next financial open for everyone. We do so by building the underlying infrastructure and investing in projects that foster a fairer and more decentralized world.
We are a diverse, fun-loving, international team of doers, tinkerers, and technology enthusiasts with a diverse set of backgrounds.
As an independent, bootstrapped company, we have the freedom to call our own shots and put our team at the heart of our company.
While we are based in Munich, we are a remote-first company and our team spreads across the whole globe. As such, we regularly meet up at conferences or company retreats in order to closely knit the team together.
If this sounds like the kind of team you'd thrive in, we'd love to hear from you.
