Role Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our API team, focusing on building and scaling our stablecoin banking API infrastructure. You'll work on core services that enable platforms to create programmable smart accounts, manage payments, and integrate stablecoin banking features into their products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement core API services focusing on smart account creation, transaction processing, and payment flows

- Build resilient services handling key management, custody solutions, and transaction orchestration

- Develop and maintain API integrations with various key management and payment orchestration vendors

- Create robust transaction submission and monitoring systems for the Solana network

- Implement secure API authentication, rate limiting, and monitoring systems

- Work closely with the Protocol team to expose new smart account features through the API

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of backend development experience with a focus on API development

- Strong experience building and maintaining production REST APIs

- Expertise in Rust or similar systems programming languages

- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures

- Proven track record of implementing API security best practices

- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience building financial services or payment processing APIs (highly valuable)

- Background in implementing webhook systems and handling asynchronous flows

- Familiarity with blockchain technology, particularly Solana would be a plus

- Experience with key management systems or custody solutions

- Knowledge of payment systems and stablecoin infrastructure
