Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Solana Smart Contract Developer to design, develop, and maintain smart contracts . This role is perfect for a developer passionate about leveraging Rust and the Solana ecosystem to build secure, scalable, and efficient decentralized applications (dApps).

**Key Responsibilities

• Smart Contract Development:** Design, develop, and deploy Solana smart contracts using Rust and frameworks like Anchor.
• Program Architecture: Create and optimize on-chain program architectures for efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Solana Ecosystem Integration: Work with the Solana CLI, spl-token CLI, and other Solana libraries to interact with Solana programs, SPL tokens, and accounts.
• Blockchain Transactions: Develop solutions for handling transactions, token minting, token transfers, staking, and other DeFi-related mechanisms.
• Security: Ensure all smart contracts are rigorously tested and audited to meet high security standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and designers to integrate on-chain and off-chain components seamlessly.
• Testing and Debugging: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure contract reliability.Upgrades and Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade deployed smart contracts as necessary, ensuring seamless backward compatibility.

Key Requirements

Experience: - 3+ years of professional experience in blockchain or decentralized application development.

• 1+ year of experience working with Solana smart contracts and related tooling.

Technical Skills:

- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Rust is required. Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.

Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of Solana's architecture, runtime, and programming model. Hands-on experience with Solana CLI, Anchor framework, and the spl-token CLI. Knowledge of account models, program-derived addresses (PDAs), and Solana’s program execution environment.

Libraries & Frameworks: Anchor, Solana Web3.js, and Solana SDKs. Familiarity with serialization/deserialization using borsh.

Smart Contract Development Practices: Proficiency in program lifecycle management, and storage considerations. Experience designing secure, upgradeable smart contracts.

Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with wallet integrations, transaction signing, and dApp interactions with Solana programs.

Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on security and scalability.

Compensation Part (1) Solstice Labs will offer competitive base (fiat or crypto) salaries relative to experience and market rates.Part (2) Team members will be incentivized with token allocations for the TGE of Solstice Labs. Token structures will include a vesting schedule for all team members. Tokenomics to be shared directly with candidates.Part (3) Team members will be further incentivized with a variable annual fiat/crypto bonus structure dependent on company performance and profits.

Bonus Skills - Experience with other blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, SUI) or cross-chain solutions. Familiarity with DeFi protocols and concepts like lending, liquidity pools, and stablecoins.

• Knowledge of decentralized file storage solutions like ShadowDrive.
• Contribution to open-source blockchain projects, particularly in the Solana ecosystem.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
