Job Description

Solstice Labs is looking for an experienced product candidate to work with both management and technical teams to work on the design, development and delivery of the flagship business, Solstice Protocol. The Product Lead will join Solstice Labs to champion the design and delivery of the protocol actively integrating business requirements into the platform while designing a vision for the future of the product. The Product Lead will also be working on additional business lines within Solstice Labs including including institutional staking operations.

Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Collaborate with the technology and management teams to design, develop, and deliver the Solstice Protocol, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals. Create and manage the Product Backlog in Jira and write quality Epics and Stories. Prioritize the product backlog and attend delivery meetings as needed. Product Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy for the Solstice Protocol, focusing on its yield-bearing synthetic stablecoin token operations. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful product launches. Stakeholder Collaboration**:** Work closely with internal teams and external partners to integrate institutional-grade infrastructure into Web3 products. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand user needs and competitive landscape, informing product development decisions. Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance product features and performance based on user feedback and market trends. Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in developing additional business lines, such as institutional staking operations.

Key Requirements Experience in Product Management: Proven track record in product management, particularly within fintech or blockchain sectors. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, specifically Solana, and experience with DeFi protocols. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term product strategies that align with business objectives. Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to launch. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to address challenges and identify innovative solutions in product development. Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Compensation Compensation for the role will be offered in 3 parts.Part (1) Solstice Labs will offer competitive base (fiat) salaries relative to experience and market rates for 2024.Part (2) Team members will be incentivized with token allocations for the TGE of Solstice Labs. Token structures will include a vesting schedule for all team members. Tokenomics to be shared directly with candidates.Part (3) Team members will be further incentivized with a variable annual fiat/crypto bonus structure dependent on company performance and profits.

Bonus Skills Experience with a variety of L1’s for cross-chain development, access and integrations. Familiarity with DeFi applications, protocols and concepts, particularly those applicable to Solana. Comfortability with yield-based products in the DeFi ecosystem.
