We’re opening the world’s first physical retail, educational, and community space dedicated to Web3. Our mission is to introduce and onboard people to Web3 and the Solana ecosystem, and we couldn’t do this without hiring the best. We’re looking for a self-motivated Director of Programming & Events to develop and maintain a programming strategy which will result in culturally relevant Web3 IRL spaces continuously filled with engaged guests. You will own the entire process from concept & planning through execution and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design templates for events that can be scaled across different cities
• Concept innovative programming with a focus on evangelizing Solana and it’s ecosystem to a non-crypto audience
• Build a curriculum for Web3 education across a variety of Web3 topics such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs and more
• Identify concepts and opportunities to bring to leadership and our partners
• Produce a seamless run of show with project timelines and shared tracking
• Plan all aspects of events cross functionally with operations, retail staff, marketing, partnerships, and others as needed to bring your vision to life
• Network with communities to discover talent for panels and events
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners for each event and produce partner recaps that provides quantifiable results
• Maintain & publish a customer facing programming calendar
• Forecast revenue, manage budgets efficiently, and produce ROI analysis reports to achieve business goals
• Coordinate content and schedule for corporate education events
• Develop a strategy to promote events across relevant channels such as Twitter, Discord and Partner communities

Requirements:

• Motivated by our mission to bring Web3 and Solana to the masses
• 5+ years of experience in event coordination and planning
• 1+ years personal or professional experience with Web3, blockchain or Crypto
• Proven experience delivering measurable event ROI
• Ability to effectively speak about our mission, Web3, Solana, wallets, NFTs, and other blockchain innovation to large groups and media
• Experience negotiating with vendors and talent
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Location: Ideally based in Miami or New York but open to nearby locations for the right candidate with the ability to travel to these locations for events as needed.
