What you'll be working on

As Head of BD, you will focus on growth related initiatives. As the first formal hire in this function, you will work closely with the CEO, handling both inbound and outbound efforts to help us scale our integration base.

  • Strategy and research: Investigate and identify prospective partners within the Solana ecosystem.
  • Execution: Oversee the complete business development lifecycle, from generating leads to successfully integrating with Solana ID.
  • Customer success: Collaborate with customers to discover new use cases based on their insights, nurturing strong relationships and supporting their success.
  • Content: Produce case studies and written materials highlighting product advancements and partnerships for wider distribution.
  • Team collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.

What you should bring to the party

As we are filling a leadership role with big responsibility, we are hiring for a full-time role with senior-like skillset. This does not mean, you need to have 10+ experience in business development and sales - if your intelligence and wit outcompetes other people's years of experience, we are happy to fill this role with a young, outstanding talent. Ideally you bring to the table:

  • A sparkling personality that is well liked and connected in the Solana ecosystem
  • Decent knowledge about the wider crypto space and deep experience within the Solana ecosystem and all its relevant players
  • High-level knowledge on technical topics and ability to explain them in simple terms
  • Very good communication and public speaking skills that can be proven by prior experience in related fields or simply obvious when talking
  • Fluent in English langauage
