Who We Are

The Solana Foundation is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Solana is a high performance blockchain that can deliver a fast and friendly user experience, without sacrificing security. The Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information and value freely around the world. We are looking for talented people who are willing to jump right in and use their expertise to help the ecosystem build.

The Opportunity

The Solana Foundation is looking for a visionary and execution-driven Workplace Manager to own and operate our NYC hub (Skyline!) end-to-end. This isn’t your typical office manager gig – this is about building a thriving environment that reflects our culture, inspires our teams, and brings the Solana community together under one dynamic roof.

This role blends operations, hospitality, community building, and strategic project management. You’ll manage our day-to-day workplace experience, spearhead the build-out and activation of a brand-new co-working floor, and collaborate with our community team on ecosystem events. If you're passionate about great spaces, live for flawless execution, and love being at the center of a fast-moving, people-driven environment, read on.

What You'll Do

Office Ownership & Facility Operations:

  • Take full ownership of the NYC office across five floors (plus the rooftop!), ensuring it’s running smoothly, efficiently, and with intention

  • Design, implement, and evolve systems for daily operations—from mail, storage, and maintenance to workplace experience and security

  • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers with a sharp eye on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

  • Maintain a beautiful, functional, and safe space that people love to work in, including ordering snacks, managing supplies, and handling the odd fix-it-yourself moment

  • Use workplace technology and automation to optimize and streamline processes wherever possible

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our new ecosystem co-working floor, ensuring it’s welcoming, well-organized, and aligned with Solana’s values

  • Serve as the primary contact for co-working members and partners, supporting a smooth, community-forward experience

Community & Event Collaboration:

  • Partner with the NYC community team to bring our event floor to life—from speaker panels and meetups to high-impact hackathons and ecosystem activations

  • Support flawless onsite execution of events: tech setup, space readiness, vendor logistics, and hospitality

  • Ensure the office remains flexible and event-ready without compromising day-to-day functionality

Culture & People Experience:

  • Foster an inclusive, welcoming vibe where employees and guests feel energized, comfortable, and productive

  • Act as the heartbeat of the office—observant, approachable, and proactive

  • Stay tapped into the needs of the team and propose improvements before issues arise

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in office, workplace, or facilities management, ideally with events and project execution components

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end, with minimal oversight

  • Stellar organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture

  • Experience managing office buildouts or tenant improvements

  • Startup or fast-paced work environment background

  • Comfort using and trouble shooting tools like Zoom Rooms, AV equipment, building automation systems, conference room booking systems, etc.

  • Hands-on attitude – you’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to fix a chair as you are drafting a workplace policy

  • A passion for community building, spatial design, and meaningful hospitality

  • A “nothing too big or small” mindset

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with NYC vendors, permitting, and workplace norms

  • Event production experience (especially within tech or crypto spaces)

  • Ability to lift/move packages (weighing up to 100 pounds), either manually or with the assistance of a dolly, as needed.
