== What we're looking for ==

We’re looking for a highly motivated front-end developer. As an early hire, you will work directly with our CEO, Head of Product, and Principal Engineer to build beautiful products at the cutting-edge of Solana’s ecosystem.

This offer is for a full-time / part-time contract role with flexible remote working conditions and an immediate start date.

== You will... ==

• Build Socean’s front-end!
• Talk to our users. Build what delights them.
• Work with our Head of Product to understand what our users need.
• Work with our Principal Engineer to translate Figma wireframe into React components.
• Integrate our React components with Socean’s on-chain smart contracts (written in Rust).
• Ensure our UI components and libraries are reliable, scalable, secure and extensible.
• Improve the quality of our codebase by refactoring and cleaning up technical debt.

== You are... ==

• ⚛️ proficient in React, Typescript, Material UI, HTML and CSS.
• ⚡ a generalist who can learn new technologies and languages quickly.
• ⚗️ comfortable with building a product from ideation to production.
• 💬 comfortable with talking directly to users to figure out how to delight them.
• ✅ a person who cares about doing things right, rather than just getting them done.

• Proficiency in Rust (in order to read and understand our smart contracts)
• Proficiency in Solana Javascript API and Project Serum’s Anchor.
• Working knowledge of the Solana blockchain.
• An eye for UI/UX design.
