Community Moderator
SkyTrade
Who We Are:
SkyTrade is the planet's first air rights marketplace, (n to 1). At the intersection of Real World Assets (RWA) and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN).
We work with large real estate companies, agents, brokers, individual homeowners, governments, and drone companies. We are building for crypto natives and traditional real estate owners. You need to be a chameleon and able to context-switch without losing focus.
We are a start-up with a start-up mentality and are pre-TGE, so you need the drive to help us build from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the founders and cross-functional teams, and be an integral part of shaping the community from day one. You’ll be the voice, ears, and heart of the community. We don’t settle and only want entrepreneurial winners.
What You Will Do:
As the Community Moderator, your mission is to build, support, and energize the SkyTrade community across all key platforms: Discord, Telegram, X/Twitter, and beyond. This is not a copy-paste-and-chill job. We want signal, not noise.
- Set the tone and culture of the community—welcoming, helpful, and mission-driven.
- Monitor channels in real time, engaging with users, answering questions, diffusing FUD, and fostering genuine conversation.
- Flag critical feedback, bugs, or insights and bring them back to the team. You are the bridge between SkyTrade and the people who believe in it.
- Moderate discussions to ensure healthy, inclusive dialogue and enforce community rules.
- Create, post, and pin updates that keep the community informed, hyped, and activated.
- Work closely with marketing and ops teams to coordinate campaigns, AMAs, partnerships, announcements, and events.
- Activate power users and mods. Identify community advocates, contributors, and future ambassadors.
- Use your instincts and tools to grow the community with high-signal users.
- Propose ways to improve our community infrastructure—bots, automations, incentives, events, gamification, etc.
- Be available during high-traffic periods, especially around launches, announcements, or partner activations.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate is a crypto-native community builder who thrives in fast-paced, high-agency environments. You know the lingo, the memes, the vibes—and you have strong emotional intelligence to keep conversations constructive.
- You’ve been a community moderator or manager before, preferably in Web3, DePIN, or RWA.
- You’ve spent hundreds (if not thousands) of hours in Discord, Telegram, X/Twitter, or similar channels.
- You understand how to manage spam, deal with trolls, and still make people feel heard and supported.
- You're proactive and take ownership. If something’s off, you fix it. If something’s great, you double down.
- Strong communication skills in English. Bonus points if you’re multilingual.
- You’re allergic to cringe and love building real community—no fake engagement farming.
- Flexible with working hours. Community doesn’t sleep and neither does Web3.
- Bonus if you’ve launched community initiatives, built mod teams, or contributed to DAOs.
- DePIN, RWA, real estate, or airdrop ecosystem familiarity is a major plus.
Do not apply if you're looking for easy, repetitive tasks. We are building something that hasn’t existed before. We need people who are obsessed with the mission, move quickly, and do things that don’t scale—until they do.
