The next era of onchain adoption will be defined by the teams that bring traditional capital markets onchain. Our team brings experience from both Wall Street and DeFi.

Founded in 2014, R3 has built financial infrastructure for some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Our enterprise DLT platform, Corda, is used by financial market infrastructures, exchanges, central banks and commercial banks. In 2025 we partnered with the Solana Foundation to take that work onto public chains.

Corda Protocol brings real-world assets issued by leading financial institutions to internet capital markets, with the liquidity and onchain access a new generation of investors expects. EPIC is our first vault.

R3 is backed by HSBC, Citi, Barclays, UBS, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and the Solana Foundation.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to own marketing strategy and execution for Corda Protocol and our asset pipeline. You will work closely with sales, product and executive leadership, as well as our partners, clients and prospects.

This is a hands-on role. You will set the approach and do the work, with a mix of internal and external support.

Responsibilities

Strategy and launches

  • Set strategy and sequencing for marketing across each launch phase.

  • Own launches end to end: what ships, what we can honestly claim at each phase, and the assets that go with it.

  • Define and refine our ideal customer profiles: onchain whales and high-net-worth investors, DeFi protocol partners, allocators and treasuries, and the institutions that originate assets.

Customers and content

  • Talk to customers and partners every week. Sit in on sales and BD calls and turn what you hear into positioning.

  • Research and write content that answers prospects’ questions before they ask them. Own the content pipeline and marketing calendar.

  • Build and refine sales enablement materials that help close deals.

Growth and partnerships

  • Work with our partners across crypto, fintech and traditional finance to extend the reach of our campaigns.

  • Run and refine our growth programmes across affiliate, loyalty and lead generation.

  • Set the strategy for organic and paid growth across sponsorships, conferences, online and onchain channels.

What you will bring

Essential

  • 6+ years in marketing, mostly in product marketing, with at least 2 years in crypto or DeFi.

  • Experience at an institutional crypto or DeFi company, or at a leading protocol, exchange or CeFi platform.

  • A track record of launches you owned end to end, and positioning that measurably moved adoption or revenue.

  • Hands-on growth experience with partner, affiliate, referral or loyalty programmes, measured with onchain and funnel data.

  • Experience marketing permissioned and permissionless products onchain. You know what eligibility rules, geo-fencing and approved-language constraints mean for copy and campaigns.

  • Fast, clear writing. You can turn complex financial and technical detail into narratives that work for whales, DeFi teams and institutions.

  • Ownership of outcomes rather than tasks, and the judgement to act on partial information during a fast-moving launch.

Nice to have

  • Background in institutional crypto, RWAs, tokenisation, or onchain credit and yield.

  • Experience in the Solana ecosystem.

  • A network among DeFi protocols, KOLs, allocators or crypto media.

  • Fluency with Dune, Mixpanel or Amplitude, and a CRM such as Dynamics, HubSpot or Salesforce.

  • Experience managing agencies or building automated, AI-assisted content workflows.

Beware of recruitment scams: Your first interview is always with Rhea Beattie, our Global Talent Lead. We'll never ask you to pay anything, share financial or crypto wallet details, or install software, so if something doesn't feel right, email [email protected] before going any further.
