About the Role: We're looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor / Videographer to join Pulse! As a health tech startup revolutionizing how people understand their bodies through a native wearable device and AI-powered productivity insights, we need someone who can bring our vision to life through compelling video content.

Your main focus will be video editing to create engaging short-form content that resonates with productivity hackers, entrepreneurs, and health optimizers, with occasional filming and high-production launch videos for major product releases.

  • Full-Time, Remote – UK & EU Candidates (In-Person/Hybrid Available for London)

  • Availability during CET/BST business hours (9 AM - 6 PM) for team collaboration and meetings

  • Salary Range: $2,000 - $4,000 USD per month

What You'll Do:

  • Edit short-form video content with dynamic cuts, transitions, and engaging pacing.

  • Occasionally film team content when required (primarily for London-based candidates or with travel arrangements).

  • Create content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form platforms.

  • Edit videos with plenty of cuts and scene changes to maintain viewer engagement.

  • Work with provided footage and B-roll to create compelling narratives.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all video content.

  • Stay updated on short-form video trends and editing techniques.

  • Work independently to translate concepts into engaging visual stories.

  • Maintain high production quality while working efficiently.

Current Content Examples:

What We're Looking For:

  • Medium-level experience in videography and video editing (2-4 years preferred).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut (must-have).

  • Experience with After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects.

  • Strong skills in transitions, SFX, and pacing to create engaging content.

  • Sound design capabilities and SFX + audio sync expertise.

  • Experience with both short-form editing (Reels/TikTok) and long-form editing (YouTube-style explainers or reveals).

  • Color grading skills to enhance visual appeal.

  • Subtitle/caption styling for accessibility and engagement.

  • B-roll hunting and stock footage usage to enhance storytelling.

  • Experience with phone/handheld camera shooting for authentic content.

  • iPhone shooting and editing skills – knowing how to create professional content on mobile.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing dynamic editing with multiple cuts and scene changes.

  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel or in-person/hybrid arrangements (especially for London-based candidates).

  • Understanding of short-form video platforms and their specific requirements.

  • Experience with social media video trends and viral content formats.

  • Track tasks and progress using Linear and communicate through Slack.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.

  • Excellent communication skills – we value kindness and collaboration.

  • Ability to take feedback well and iterate quickly.

  • Strong portfolio showing original video work, not just basic edits.

  • Own professional-grade camera equipment and mobile editing setup.
