What You’ll Do

As a Lead Protocol Engineer with Full Stack experience, you will play a critical role in designing and building the Parity liquid staking platform and trading infrastructure. While your focus will be on Smart Contract development with accompanying backend, you will also contribute to front-end systems to ensure an integrated, seamless user experience.

You will:

• Architect and develop core components of Parity’s liquid staking protocol with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and deploy Solana-based smart contracts using Rust.
• Build and maintain backend systems to support Parity’s trading infrastructure, including integrations with centralized exchanges (CEXes), decentralized exchanges (DEXes), and custodial services.
• Develop backend services using Rust and Node.js, ensuring seamless interaction with trading and staking systems.
• Contribute to front-end integrations and interfaces by collaborating with the design and front-end teams (experience with React is a plus).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the stack, ensuring robust and reliable systems.
• What We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Rust, with hands-on 2+ years of experience developing Solana smart contracts from scratch.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in backend and full-stack systems.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript in backend and full-stack environments.
• A strong understanding of integrating backend systems with CEXes, DEXes, and custodial services in the context of trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React) for seamless user interface development.
• The ability to take ownership and responsibility for your work from start to finish, coupled with the experience to form your own perspective on critical design decisions, effectively collaborate with non-technical team members, and translate non-technical ideas into actionable solutions.
