Orca’s mission is to become the leading provider of financial primitives on Solana. Orca sees a future where a meaningful percentage of the world’s financial transactions is powered by CLAMMs and other Decentralized Finance (DeFi) products. About the role: This will be a visible role that reports to the CEO. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and eager to grow, but also humble and willing to roll up their sleeves to handle any task—big or small. This role requires a proactive individual who takes ownership without viewing any task as beneath them.

What You’ll Do

  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, which entails attending key meetings, taking detailed notes, ensuring action items are followed up on, keeping the CEO organized in daily tasks, and prioritizing urgent matters.
  • Special Projects: Take ownership of various special projects that span different functions of the company, such as BD, operations, marketing, or product initiatives. These projects will vary and require a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, managing communication and ensuring that key priorities are advanced.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the CEO’s office and enhance efficiency.
  • Support Decision Making: Assist the CEO in making decisions by providing insights, data, and recommendations on various topics.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills while interacting with the Leadership team and members across the company.
  • Integrity and Discretion: High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Crypto: Familiarity with the Solana blockchain and its ecosystem.
  • Professional Experience: At least 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.

What We Offer (Comp & Benefits will differ for non-US hires)

  • Compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000
  • ORCA token allocation: 40,000 - 60,000 ORCA over 4 years
