About the role:

The Intermediate Gameplay Programmer will be in charge of world content development. This includes world gameplay components (interactable objects such as doors, barrels, etc…), streaming, world object management (when objects get loading in and out of the level), etc.

This role will need strong C++, algorithms and technical architecture skills. It will also need a strong understanding of target platforms, performance targets and optimization.

The Intermediate Gameplay Programmer will need to work closely with the World Design team to implement features and pipelines that address the world design needs.

The Intermediate Gameplay Programmer will also work closely with the rest of the gameplay team to ensure cohesive gameplay and a balanced world.

What you’ll be doing:

The Intermediate Gameplay Programmer will be expected to fulfill the following activities:

• Optimize and enhance the steaming logic of Unreal Engine 5 for our game
• Implementation of modules and components for world-building
• Work closely with the world Game Design Team
• Optimize Nanite for World Composition
• Profile and Optimize world budget and performance

About you:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in programming
• 2+ years of industry experience using UE4
• Skills: Proficient in C++, Prior gameplay development experience especially in world-building
• Proficiency with git-flow, experience with network-enabled games
• Passion about gaming, crypto and blockchain technology
• Ability to work remotely and independently with flexible hours
• Strong communication skills
• Optional: you love cats and enjoy our humor

Desirable: UE5, Experience working with FPS and network enable games
