Introduction:

We are hiring a technical writer who will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for Neon EVM, an Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) compatibility solution for Solana. In addition, this writer will produce content, such as articles about crypto and how our products - starting with Neon EVM - play a meaningful role in driving the ecosystem. At any point in time, you may be working on several projects simultaneously. We expect you to have a deep interest in blockchains (e.g. Ethereum and Solana) and decentralized applications. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with Solana and help shape the presence and brand of Neon.

Neon is an early stage startup building the Neon EVM. The Neon team consists of experienced founders, product and marketing experts, software engineers, and builders who bring a deep understanding of crypto. We come from diverse professional backgrounds and are looking for self-starterss who are passionate about blockchain and eager to tackle challenging tasks on a daily basis. Your roles and responsibilities:

Oversee strategy, creation, and execution of thought-leadership content Create and maintain technical documentation for Neon EVM, working closely with the technical and marketing teams Write about complex technical topics in a way that a less technical audience can digest Contribute to one or several open-source projects Ensure all business narratives and messages are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions of the founders in our incubation programs

Required technical and professional expertise:

Comfort with Medium and active on Twitter Demonstrated ability to engage with the crypto community and varying audiences on technical subjects Passion for learning about blockchain and various web3 verticals Use creativity and judgement towards professional, technical, or operational problems Demonstrated people skills that contribute to an open and collaborative environment Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have:

Background in information technology or any related field Prior experience in a marketing or communications role Ability to collect, summarize, and analyze metrics to measure content performance and audience engagement Existing contributions in the web3 space
