If you believe in the power of markets, join us.</p><p></p><h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2><p>As staff engineer, you would:</p><ul> <li><p>Build, test, and maintain production services. Our current stack uses TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres.</p></li> <li><p>Implement, integrate, and modify smart contracts that experience hundreds of millions of dollars of volume.</p></li> <li><p>Drive ambitious engineering initiatives (for example, realtime data indexing at scale) from inception to completion: specification, architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.</p></li> </ul><p></p><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul> <li><p>3+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems, with high-quality and well-documented production code</p></li> <li><p>3+ years of experience with Unix systems</p></li> <li><p>Experience working with cloud infrastructure</p></li> <li><p>Experience with AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor</p></li> <li><p>Ability to make informed engineering decisions based on relevant business context</p></li> <li><p>Demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude</p></li> <li><p>Demonstrated intellectual curiosity</p></li> </ul><p></p><h2><strong>Preferred</strong></h2><ul> <li><p>Experience working for venture-funded startups</p></li> <li><p>Knowledge of capital markets, acquired either through working in finance or trading stocks and/or crypto personally</p></li> <li><p>Proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript</p></li> </ul>
