Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Lead to join our team and focus on growth related initiatives. As the first formal hire in this function, you will work closely with the CEO to build our BD function, handling both inbound and outbound efforts to help us scale our integration base.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and research: Identify and research potential partners within the Solana ecosystem.
- Execution: Manage the end-to-end business development process, from lead generation to successful integration with MagicBlock.
- Customer success: Work with customers to explore new use-cases based on their feedback, fostering long-lasting relationships and ensuring their success.
- Content: Develop case studies and written content about product developments and partnerships for a broader audience.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with our engineering team to incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the crypto industry (preferrably on Solana).
- Technical selling experience with a solid understanding of how smart contracts/DeFi/L2 solutions work.
- Proven experience in tracking prospects, closing deals, and setting ambitious goals.
- Highly organized and proactive with a go-getter attitude.
- You are a regular Web3 user
Bonus if:
- You have an existing network within the Solana ecosystem.
- You have experience in a leadership role in BD/sales.
