What You’ll Do:

As io.net's Events Lead, you'll devise and execute event strategies that amplify our brand and marketing objectives, focusing on podcasts, speaking engagements, and panel participation for enhanced visibility. You'll identify key industry events, forge strong relationships with organizers and influencers in the tech and Web3 spheres, and secure prominent opportunities for our presence. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll develop compelling content for each event, manage logistics meticulously, and coordinate with marketing for effective promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Strategy Development: Craft and execute a strategic plan for events that aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals, emphasizing podcasts, speaking slots, and panel participations to enhance visibility.
• Identification and Securing Opportunities: Maintain an exhaustive list of all relevant industry events and proactively seek out and secure opportunities for the company's presence on leading platforms, ensuring optimal visibility and engagement within the industry. Work closely with internal and external partners for opportunity placement and sourcing.
• Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with event organizers, podcast hosts, and influencers in the tech and Web3 communities to ensure the company is considered for key speaking and participation opportunities.
• Content Development for Events: Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging, informative content tailored for each event, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all speaking and podcast appearances.
• Event Logistics and Coordination: Manage all logistical aspects of event participation, including scheduling, registration, travel arrangements, and on-site coordination, ensuring a professional and seamless presence.
• Promotion and Engagement: Coordinate with the marketing team to effectively promote the company's event participation across various channels, increasing event visibility and attendee engagement.
• Performance Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of event participation in achieving brand visibility and engagement goals, using insights to refine and optimize future event strategies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in event management, with a comprehensive understanding of the Web3 and blockchain event landscape, including key conferences, podcasts, and speaking opportunities.
• Demonstrated success in establishing deep relationships and a proven track record of building and leveraging a wide network with event organizers, podcast hosts, and key influencers across the tech and Web3 communities, securing high-impact engagement opportunities.
• Proven track record of building and leveraging relationships with event organizers, podcast hosts, and key influencers across the tech and Web3 communities to secure engagement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with experience working closely with marketing and product teams to develop compelling content for events and media appearances.
• Strong capability in managing all logistical aspects of event participation, including scheduling, registration, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless execution.
• Ability to analyze event outcomes and audience engagement metrics to refine and optimize future event strategies for better reach and impact.
