Role Overview:
As a Senior Business Development Manager for the APAC region, you’ll lead the growth of Everstake’s staking distribution through partnerships with custodians, exchanges, wallets, and fintechs across key markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Australia.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing, closing, and scaling integrations that embed Everstake’s infrastructure — enabling APAC platforms to offer secure, high-performance staking to their users. This role blends technical partnership execution with cross-cultural relationship building and strategic ecosystem engagement. You’ll be Everstake’s ambassador in one of the most critical regions for staking adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Acquisition: Identify, engage, and close high-impact platform partners — especially CEXs, super apps, mobile-first wallets, and crypto-native fintechs operating in or expanding into APAC.
- Compliance Collaboration: Help partners navigate local requirements (e.g., MAS, SFC, FSA, VASP licensing) to enable compliant staking integrations.
- Integration Management: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams (both internally and with partners) to execute smooth technical integrations.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Represent Everstake at top APAC events — including TOKEN2049 Singapore, Korea Blockchain Week, ETHGlobal Asia, WebX Japan, and IVS Kyoto.
- Market Insights: Track the evolution of crypto adoption and staking regulation across APAC markets and surface regional partner trends to the team.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with Product, Legal, and Marketing to align go-to-market plans, support integrations, and drive post-launch success.
Success in this Role Looks Like:
- Launching and scaling 3–5 strategic integrations across APAC in your first 12 months
- Driving 8 to 9 digits in Assets Under Staking through partner channels
- Accelerating integration speed by proactively managing cross-border, multi-lingual, and multi-timezone workflows
- Establishing Everstake as the go-to staking provider across Asia’s most influential platforms
- Bringing partner and market feedback back to shape Everstake’s regional strategy and product roadmap
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or GTM roles in crypto, fintech, or infrastructure SaaS.
- Strong Web3 fluency — you understand validator infrastructure, staking economics, and product integration flows
- Experience with stakeholder management across culturally and linguistically diverse APAC markets
- Familiarity with local compliance environments across Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and emerging SEA markets
- Existing network across APAC CEXs, wallets, fintechs, and DeFi platforms is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, is a major plus
- Willing and able to travel frequently for partner meetings, events, and regional activations
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive base salary, a performance-based variable bonus tied to partner and Assets Under Staking growth, and equity plan aligned with impact and based on seniority and tenure. As part of a globally distributed team, you'll also have access to travel budgets for events and partner meetings, with flexible remote work support. This role offers growth opportunities into Regional Lead roles as the team scales.
