Digital Assets - Dispatch

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Dispatch, you will work with individuals across the organization to help Dispatch implement our distributed commerce solution to make media shoppable, anywhere, while leveraging a merchant’s existing payment and BE infrastructure. This is a cross-functional opportunity where you will be able to leverage your technical skills to help IEX’s Dispatch team set new standards and raise the bar for performance, fairness, and transparency.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and operate our foundational data infrastructure - monitoring, deployments and troubleshooting
  • Automate repeatable processes with solutions that are robust, configurable, and scalable (Terraform, deployment CI/CD)
  • Build tools to monitor systems and automate processes around network and server infrastructure
  • Write high quality, well tested code
  • Collaborate with other business functions (e.g., development, market operations, business development, subscribers, etc.) to bring best of breed product to market with reliability and observability as core tenets

Your have:

  • 2+ years working in a Backend, DevOps, or SRE role where you were directly involved in deploying supporting infrastructure (Cloud services, data monitoring, CI/CD, deployment pipelines)
  • Experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, and a strong understanding of how to develop a service-oriented architecture
  • Experience with Azure Web Services or equivalent (AWS, GCP); a desire to use or learn Azure is a must
  • Experience working with Node, TypeScript, GraphQL and MongoDB or a desire to learn; at least some proficiency with Javascript is a must
  • Experience with Docker and deployment automation (Terraform, Jenkins, or equivalent) a plus

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay is $125,000 - $175,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
