Dialect is bridging the web2 world with web3, sending users privacy-preserving notifications right to their phones. As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for helping design, build and scale this critical infrastructure, with the intent of supporting a significant portion of the Solana’s users & ecosystem.

Reach out to us at [email protected] if you're interested!

You will:

  • Design, build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure to power event notifications for web3 users, based on the services they’ve signed up to receive notifications from.
  • Integrate open-source tooling that both reads and writes blockchain data, and potentially contribute to such open-source tooling to help configure it for higher levels of performance and scale.
  • Collaborate with your fellow protocol engineers to design and implement data systems for (privately) storing configuration and messaging data both on-chain and off-chain.
  • Work closely with other engineering roles, as well as product roles, in a tight, user-driven development feedback loop.

You maybe be a fit for this role if you:

  • Have extensive experience designing and building performant nodejs services, and integrating those services into other systems.
  • Have experience designing efficient data structures, whether it’s PostgresQL or other data systems.
  • Above all, you may be a good fit for this role if you are excited about web3 and the future of the internet. No prior web3 experience needed, other than an excitement and willingness to learn.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience with best-in-class devops tooling, such as AWS, terraform, kubernetes, and related services. We’re going for scale.
  • Have experience with logging & monitoring systems such as Sentry, DataDog, and similar.
Dialect is an equal opportunity employer.
