The Role

We’re looking for a Senior+ Mobile Engineer to lead the charge on devlopment of our mobile platform. This individual will own the mobile codebase, shaping our React Native mobile build-out, and delivering something users can’t live without. You’ll be a key player in a fast-paced, innovative environment, working on tech that pushes boundaries of what’s possible in mobile consumer crypto and drives real, highly-visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with Vision: Set the technical direction for our mobile apps. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and growth.
• Build Smart: Design and develop scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native. Write code that’s clean, maintainable, and ready for the future.
• Cross-Platform Synergy: Collaborate in a monorepo setup, sharing code with our Next.js web repo. Keep things consistent and efficient across platforms.
• Solve Problems: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to tackle tough challenges and ship solutions that delight users.
• Raise the Bar: Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and push for continuous improvement in everything we build.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in mobile development, with deep expertise in React Native. You’ve shipped apps that people love (bonus points for consumer).
• Technical Skills:
  • Mastery of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Some experience with web development (React, Next.js) is a bonus, but expertise isn’t required.
  • Comfortable with monorepo setups and shared codebases.
  • Solid grasp of mobile app architecture and best practices.
• Trading Experience: While not mandatory, any experience or understanding of trading platforms is a significant plus.
• Leadership: You’ve guided teams, shaped technical decisions, and inspired others to level up.
• Mindset: Analytical, proactive, and obsessed with solving problems the right way.
• Communication: You can explain complex ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbal.
